We see MattCare as being a micro-scale organisation responding in small ways to make immediate impacts on lives in need.. Such needs may be as simple as funding for a child's school books, school fees, school uniforms, and many other small expense items that would otherwise be impossible for a poor rural family to purchase.

Our other area of continuing interest is in the supply of cheap, safe, drinking water in remote communities. The lack of clean drinking water is one of the world's greatest causes of death and disease and there is no excuse for this when suitable technologies exist to overcome this pronlem. It is a lack of political will that is the major obstacle.

MattCare will be a private non-profit, non-religious, and non-political foundation with offices in Thailand and Australia. The mission of the Foundation is to aid underprivlidged children and communities in South East Asian countries through assistance with education, community resources, and employment, with a view to improving the quality of life for current and future generations.
